Product Description
The MH-53 Pavelow was a combat, search and rescue (CSAR) helicopter introduced in 1967 by the Sikorsky Aircraft. The 53J helicopter Pavelow was primarily operated by the United States Air Force, and later participated in Special Operations efforts. The MH53J is a capable hauler helicopter which is able to carry a number of 37 troops and even another helicopter. The 53J helicopter is powered by 6-bladed rotor system that utilizes twin-turboshaft engines. The MH-53 Pavelow was equipped with the most advanced avionics among the USAF’s helicopters and was armed with machine and mini-guns. It was manned by a typical 6-member crew including 2 pilots.
